### Objectives:

### Lesson Steps:
1. **Introduction (5 minutes)**
- Greet the students and ask if they had breakfast; if so, ask them to share what they ate.
- Explain that today, they will learn about what foods are good for their bodies and why.
2. **Circle Time Discussion (10 minutes)**
- Show the students pictures or flashcards of different food items.
- Ask them which ones they like to eat.
- Separate the pictures into "Healthy Foods" and "Unhealthy Foods."
- Explain why fruits, vegetables, and whole grains are good for them, and why candy, chips, and soda should only be eaten occasionally.
- Use simple language like: "Fruits and vegetables make us strong and healthy. Too much candy can hurt our teeth."
3. **Activity: Setting a Healthy Plate (10 minutes)**
- Using the toy or real plate, demonstrate how to set up a meal with healthy foods.
- Place pictures or toys of healthy food items on the plate.
- Invite students to come up one by one to set up their own healthy plate with the available pictures or toys.
- Emphasize the importance of different food groups (proteins, fruits, vegetables, grains, and dairy).
4. **Story Time (optional, 5-10 minutes)**
- Read a short storybook about healthy eating habits.
- Engage the students by asking questions about the story and what the characters ate.
5. **Coloring Activity (5-10 minutes)**
- Distribute coloring sheets that feature pictures of healthy foods.
- Allow the children to color the pictures using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
- As they color, walk around and ask questions about what foods they are coloring and why they are healthy.
6. **Wrap-Up and Recap (5 minutes)**
- Review the key points of the lesson:
- What foods are healthy?
- Why do we need to eat fruits and vegetables?
- What can too much junk food do to our body?
- Ask students to share one thing they learned today.
- Encourage them to share what they learned with their parents when they go home.
